A carnivorous plant, known for growing in the wetlands of the Carolinas. They prefer a moderate amound of sun and NO nutrients in thier soil, or water. 

Due to the lack of nutrients in their natural habitat, Venus fly traps have evolved to obtain their nutrients by becoming carnivorous.
