A carnivorous plant, known for growing in the wetlands of the Carolinas. They prefer a moderate amounts of sun and NO nutrients in thier soil, or water. 

Interesting Notes:

Due to the lack of nutrients in their natural habitat, Venus fly traps have evolved to obtain their nutrients by becoming carnivorous.
